Although there were victims other than Jews during the Holocaust, the greatest majority, over 6 million of those killed, were Jewish. The Holocaust was in fact designed by Nazi Germany to rid Europe of undesirables, and the most undesirable of all were the Jews. Between 1933 and 1945, Jewish discrimination took many forms, starting with small book bans and boycotts, and ending with death camps and death marches that had the single goal of removing all Jews from Europe.
